What's in this category
Finished products are ready to use or resell the day they leave the factory. This category is where most distributors, importers, and resellers focus their buying — they're buying the product their customers will eventually own, not the components inside it.
Product categories we source
Branded vs white-label vs private-label
Three ways to buy finished products, each with different commercial implications.
- Branded — you buy the factory's own brand and resell it as-is. Fastest, lowest MOQ, but you're one of many sellers of the same product.
- White-label — you buy an unbranded version of the factory's standard product. You add your own branding in-market. Mid-MOQ, moderate lead time, gives you product differentiation without committing to bespoke tooling.
- Private-label — the factory builds a product to your spec, with your branding, your packaging, often with customization (color, firmware, features). Higher MOQ, longer lead time, meaningful brand ownership.
We source across all three. For most importers starting out, white-label is the sweet spot — it looks like your own product to end customers but doesn't carry the MOQ of full private-label.
Quality control for finished products
QC on finished products differs from QC on components. Rather than testing electrical parameters, we inspect packaging integrity, visual quality, functional operation across a sampled quantity, and accessories completeness. Standard protocol is AQL 2.5 Normal Level II for most consumer products — this is what resellers, marketplaces, and retail buyers expect.
For high-stakes shipments (first production run, premium brand positioning, regulated products), we upgrade to tighter AQL or 100% inspection. The cost increases but so does the confidence in what arrives.
Typical engagements
Reseller stocking orders
A distributor orders 2,000 units of a power bank, 5,000 LED bulbs, and 500 dashcams for their regional stock. We source each from the right factory, consolidate shipments at origin, and deliver as a single FCL container to their warehouse.
New importer first shipment
A first-time importer wants 300 units of a single product to test the market. Low MOQ, high anxiety about getting it right. We source from a factory we've shipped before, inspect 100% of the shipment, and walk the buyer through the customs and delivery process.
Private-label product launch
A brand is launching a new audio product under their name. Factory-built to their design, their packaging, their firmware. We manage the tooling, samples, pre-production, and mass production against their launch date.
