What's in this category

Modules sit between discrete components and finished products. They're functional units — a WiFi module, a power supply, a display panel with its driver — that plug into a larger system. For most buyers, modules are more cost-effective to source pre-built than to assemble from individual components, because the factories making them specialize and buy passives in vastly larger quantities than you can.

Off-the-shelf vs custom modules

For standard functions — a 2.4 GHz WiFi/BT module, for example, or a 5V/3A switching power supply — off-the-shelf modules from established manufacturers are almost always the right answer. We source from the supplier ecosystem we've built across China and Taiwan and deliver you a proven, certified part.

For specific form factors, unusual electrical requirements, or custom firmware, we work with assembly factories who build to your specification. You provide the schematic, PCB design, and BOM; they handle assembly, testing, and QC. We manage the relationship, the orders, and the QC hand-off.

Certifications and compliance

Modules that go into regulated products often need certifications — CE, FCC, RoHS, REACH, sometimes country-specific (SIRIM for Malaysia, BIS for India, NCC for Taiwan). We can source modules with certifications already in place, or source uncertified modules and guide you through the certification process with an accredited lab.

OEM integration

A product manufacturer needs a specific wireless module for their consumer product. We source the module, secure the required certifications for their target markets, and set up ongoing supply against their production schedule.

Custom PCBA runs

A hardware startup has finished their PCB design and needs 500 boards assembled, tested, and shipped. We manage the assembly, source the components, and deliver tested boards in programmed or unprogrammed state per spec.

Display and enclosure pairing

A client needs a specific LCD panel paired with a driver board and housing. We source the combined assembly from a supplier who does all three, rather than three separate suppliers.
